The new rear axial brake caliper, combined with the mounting bracket, allows plug-and-play installation on the applications listed above.
The caliper is CNC-machined from aluminium and is available with either black anodizing or hard anodizing. The two-pad caliper provides improved braking performance. The bracket is also machined from solid aluminium and features a black anodized finish.
Warranty and Overhaul:
The caliper warranty is valid for 24 months from the invoice date.
Each caliper produced is assigned a serial number, making it individually identifiable from all other calipers. Removal of this serial number will result in the loss of warranty and service coverage.
Caliper overhauls carried out in-house by Accossato technicians are completed within one working week of receiving the caliper. The overhaul includes: external inspection of the product, complete disassembly of the caliper, microscopic visual inspection of each caliper component, visual inspection of the inside of the caliper body, replacement of seals, reassembly of all components, static testing and dynamic testing.
Replaced parts are scrapped. Following the overhaul, the caliper receives an additional 12-month warranty upon presentation of the invoice. A further (second) overhaul does not extend the product warranty.
The overhaul does not include replacement of other external components not mentioned above. In the event of a crash or fall, the overhaul will only be carried out if the essential conditions are met to restore the caliper to optimal operating condition equivalent to that of a new caliper.
