Complete cable for the serial diagnosis of TOHATSU OUTBOARDS engines.

The cable can be used on engines equipped with a KOKUSANDENKI control unit.

The cable has two connectors – a male (colourless) and a female (orange-black) connector. The male connector is compatible with the socket installed on the “MFS 40 A” and “MFS 50 A” engines, while the female connector is compatible with the socket installed on the “MFS 25 B/C” and “MFS 30 B/C” engines.

The cable also has a button that, when requested by the software, allows you to activate the engine components. Further information is available in the relevant diagnostic selections.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The cable is not compatible with the socket installed on the “MFS 15E”, “MFS 20E” and “MFS 9.9E” engines. To carry out the diagnosis on these engines, you must use the AM37 terminal cable, which must be connected to the female (orange-black) socket of the AM30 cable, which acts as the main cable. In this configuration, the position of the button does not affect the diagnosis.

The cable can also be used on some MERCURY and MARINER outboard engines equipped with a KOKUSAN control unit. In this case, the socket installed on the engine is compatible with the female connector of the cable.

NOTE: The cable must be connected to the engine/vehicle battery using the power clamps in order to switch on the diagnostic tool and carry out the diagnosis. For engines that do not have a battery, the power clamps must be connected to an external battery.
