Base MARINE cable – CAN, to which the terminal cables are connected.

This cable supports specific functions and the CAN protocol that are not supported by the AM01 cable.

The cable can be identified by its RED cap with an LED and has two connectors:

• 2-way female connector (for possible external power supply)
• 4-way male connector (communication connector)

USE AS A BASE CABLE

Example: AM01 CAN + AM25

Connect the terminal cable for the brand being diagnosed (e.g. AM25) to the 4-way male connector.

If indicated by the software, connect the power clamps to the 2-way female connector. The clamps are then connected to the engine/vehicle battery to supply power to the tool.

WARNING: Do not confuse this cable with the AM01 cable, which is very similar but has a dedicated sticker and a BLACK cap.

Pay attention to the software instructions regarding the use of the base cable, the appropriate terminal cable and any required external power supply.
